This gorgeous mid century blue and green checked dress in cool cotton is perfect for summer. Such cute detailing and fine quality from British high street stalwart St. Michael.
Product Details:
Late 50s/early 60s check print summer dress
Fit and flare shape
Fitted bodice and pleated skirt
Short sleeves
Covered faux button details and cute tie detail on the bodice
Yellowy green colour fabric with pale green and turquoise stripes to create the checked effect.
Belt loops but sadly no belt.
Fastens at the back with a zip
The fabric is a lovely cotton.

Very good vintage condition. A little mending has been done at one arm hole as per the close up pictures but not really noticeable when worn. The zip works but you need to be gentle with it. It may need replacing in the future.
Approx modern day size 8-10 but as vintage garments don’t generally conform to modern day sizes this is a guide only. Please see measurements below:

UK Shipping
I offer free tracked delivery (Royal Mail Tracked 48 ) on all UK orders of £20 and over. The delivery cost for orders under £20 is £2.50. A tracking number will be provided. If you need your order faster Royal Mail Tracked 24 is available at an additional cost at checkout.
International Shipping
International shipping is calculated automatically at checkout. All international orders will be sent tracked. Please note that buyers are responsiblefor any customs/local tax charges and customs clearance admin fees incurred when the goods arrive in your country ( except for US where tariffs costs are included in the shipping rate - please see note below) so please check with your local customs office if unsure. Additionally, I cannot be held responsible for delivery delays due to official border checks.
****IMPORTANT NEWS FOR US CUSTOMERS *** My US Shipping rates are now updated to include US tariff costs. All tariff and handling costs will be paid via Royal Mail using their new PDDP service prior to shipping . This means that there should be no extra charges for you once your parcel arrives in the US and it should be delivered as before.
