Absolutely beautiful black and white striped floral 70s maxi dress with such lovely detailing. Black high necked bodice with pretty bow trim, delicate flutter sleeves and a striking diagonal striped skirt covered with a riot of multi coloured flowers.
Whether you're dressing up for a special occasion or simply want to look amazing everyday, this dress is incredibly versatile. Pair it with boots for a chic daytime ensemble or opt for sandals for a relaxed, bohemian vibe. Perfect for garden parties, retro events, weddings or just whenever suits you.
Product Details:

- Empire line shape - dress flows from the bodice
Black high neck bodice with tie detail
- Long skirt and short floaty sleeves - black with white diagonal stripes and red, blue, green, orange, and pink flowers
- Skirt is fully lined
- Fastens at the back with a zip with 2 hooks and eyes
- Sadly there is no composition label but the bodice feels like thick polyester and the sleeves and skirt a sturdy cotton blend
- Label is Richard Shops
- Perfect for everyday wear or vintage events/special occasions
- Easily pairs with boots or sandals
- Freshly laundered and ready to wear
- In very good vintage condition. The black on the skirt and sleeves look slightly faded due to age and there are a few visible stitches at the hem but these are neat. Possible faint pull on the back of the bodice near the shoulder. Please see the photos.

Approx modern day UK size 8-10 but as vintage garments don’t generally conform to modern day sizes this is a guide only. Please see measurements below:

Actual waist : 16 in / 40.5 cm ( not fitted - empire line cut)

Length shoulder to hem: 54 in /137 cm
Pit to end of sleeve : 4 1/4 in/ 10.5 cm
Pit to pit: 16 1/2 in /42 cm but stretches to 17 in/ 43 cm

When it comes to shipping and handling, I want to ensure your order arrives safely and promptly. I want you to feel like you are receiving a gift when you receive your purchase so all goods are sent out wrapped and decorated with ribbon. I aim to dispatch all orders within 2 working days.
UK Shipping
I offer free tracked delivery (Royal Mail Tracked 48 ) on all UK orders of £20 and over. The delivery cost for orders under £20 is £2.50. A tracking number will be provided. If you need your order faster Royal Mail Tracked 24 is available at an additional cost at checkout.
International Shipping
International shipping is calculated automatically at checkout. All international orders will be sent tracked. Please note that buyers are responsible for any customs/local tax charges and customs clearance admin fees incurred when the goods arrive in your country so please check with your local customs office if unsure. Additionally, I cannot be held responsible for delivery delays due to official border checks.
